Camping is
allowed on the grounds at a rate of $20.00 per day, payable with show entries,
or when you get to the fairgrounds. Electric and water hook ups are
available.
Stalls are
$40.00 for the weekend or you may show out of your trailer for a fee of $10.00
per horse, per day.
Tack stalls
$40.00 for weekend, bring four or more horses, tack stall is FREE!
Shavings
available on grounds for $6.00 each, payable at show office
Any changes that need to be made to pre entries will be
charged post entry fees. Entries made at the show will be paid with cash
or open check only. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Out of State horses must have
current negative Coggins within one year and current health papers
You must have registration
papers
Exhibitor numbers will be in
the show packets and you can pick them up at the show office
Signed release liability waiver
for all exhibitors must be in show office!
The following Show Rules will
apply to the
2008 Buckeye Haflinger Show -
Youth class list may be split according to
ages if entries warrant, please put youth age on entry form.
Youth is 16 and under the day of the show
All youth encouraged to wear safety helmets when riding or
driving
Same Horse/Rider combination in walk/trot entries
may not enter walk/trot/canter classes EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE IS
DRESSAGE CLASSES and Crossrails.
The Cross rail jump class may be done at a trot without
penalty or may be cantered. This class is for new horses/and/or riders
being introduced to jumping. The same horse/rider combination MAY NOT
enter the other jumping classes.
Walk/Trot entries are for those new to showing, who are not
yet ready to go into a canter class (rider or horse)
"Green as Grass" classes are offered for those
people
who are new to showing.
No chaps in Western Horsemanship classes
In the Pleasure Ride and Drive, driving will be first
Proper attire is required, no blue jeans in the show ring allowed, colored
jeans accepted (black, tan, red etc)
Parking in designated areas only trucks and trailers both!

attending the show, and all parties entering the grounds where the show is

responsible for the show is hereby released from any liability or
responsibility for any injuries sustained by them during the attendance of
the show and it’s related activities from an case whatsoever.
Notice: Under Ohio Law (ORC 2305.321) an equine professional is not liable
for an injury to or the death of an equine activity participant that results
from an inherent risk of the activity.
The Buckeye Haflinger Show committee shall not be responsible for any lost
or stolen articles while at the show.
